Dear Friends join us this Friday, June 22nd @ 5 pm at the Little Haiti Cultural Center for a presentation and discussion by artist Rosa Naday Garmendia of her recent participation in the X Mural Painting International Biennale, INTERNOS, in Santiago de Cuba.
On this occasion, besides the 17 Cuban artists, participating there were 15 artists from as far as Germany, Argentina, Austria, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, the United States, France, Mexico, and Ecuador. Each year the participating artist vote on the theme, this year it was The Environment and Young Generations. The 6 murals were located through out the city.
Also artist Kyle Holbrook will make a presentation of the MLK mural project.
