Fidel´ s birthday - Carlos Freire - Castro and his 81 years - Cuba and its revolution

Cuba THE BEST PRIZE

Fidel:

Once, Carlos Freire, a well known Brazilian intellectual said: “… every man is a project. There is no project that does not involve a dream. There is no dream that does not involve a tomorrow. There is no tomorrow without hope. And the hope without action is a useless wait…”

Any time a revolutionary from this world that would meditate the history of your life, Commander, these 81 years you are going to celebrate this August 13, could understand clearer the South American thinker.

Because You have been an exemplary human being for your whole life.

Because You have been able to build dreams even though no one could see them.

Because You have always been able to transmit the security that tomorrow, for a revolutionary, has to be better than today.

Because You consolidate the hope in the million followers, and disarm those that hate and reject us.

And, above all things, because You have never been a vain wait, but the action in the first trench, facing danger, whatever the circumstances were.

More over the concept it could be in relation to the role of the individual in History, the same way You are proud of the conquests of our people, of the battles fighting and even with the determination you confront your setbacks, we could tell you, on behalf of the million women and men that form this Revolution, that all these combat and victory years where you have guided us, constitute the best prize in the life of generations, and generations of Cubans.

The new circumstances we are facing, be sure that the slogan Commander in Chief, Order, will always be our war scream, our strong word, our belief and our hope.

Happy birthday, Commander,

Your people
